Electrical engineering technology program receives $50,000 grant

The College of Lake County’s electrical engineering technology program has received a $50,000 grant from the Dart Foundation. The funding will finance new lab equipment, including specialized generators and software upgrades scheduled to be installed in the 2018-19 academic year.

“We are excited and very grateful to receive the grant funding from the Dart Foundation,” said Michelle Leonard, chair of the electrical engineering program. “Having the latest equipment will make our graduates more competitive than ever in the job market.”
