GRAND CAYMAN – Congratulations to the Graduating Class of 2010: Holly Grampp, Zak Quappe, Melanie Bush, Taylor Ribbins, Reece Hester, Jamie-Lauren McTaggart, and Olivia McFadin. The commencement ceremony took place on Monday June 21st at the Arts and Recreation Centre. The Honorable Rolston Anglin, JP, MLA, Minister of Education, Training and Employment, delivered the commencement speech to the seven graduates and an audience of parents, faculty, family and friends.
In addition, Holly Nicole Grampp was the recipient of two awards at the ceremony. She received the National Gallery Award for artistic achievement and was recognized by The William and Claire Dart Foundation as the top academic achiever in Grade 12 at Cayman International School. This is the first time the Dart Foundation award has been presented; however, it will be an annual award to recognize the top student in each graduating class at CIS. The Dart Foundation award consists of a certificate, a brand new iPad, and a new Apple computer to be custom ordered.
